Love this, and will order one, even if only to enjoy the feeling of knowing that the unimaginative keyboard warriors on here will get so annoyed when they see it. I want bangle back.......it's no e39.......it's not mini anymore, oh sorry that's the other comment, wrong post!

Here's an idea that will make your lives easier and more enjoyable, just judge each new car on its own. Try it, it's a brave new world. I can like the new Peugeot, XFR Sportbrake, and this, life without stereotypes is great.
With your username, I'm not surprised you want one!

Dear, Oh Dear !

Ugly and grossly overpriced

I actually paid less than the cost of one of these for my Ferrari and that's a proper coupe ! And that will likely go up in value.

Anyone buying an X4 needs their head examined.

I have a theory that some ex-Rover designer is slowly trying to kill BMW from the inside by producing the vile cars we see today.

I really like this, think it looks great, yes it's a pointless neiche but it's less of a pointless neiche than the 4gt. Which is a very strange car

A 4 door slightly jacked up coupe based on a 3 series when a gt already exists
The 4 series GT is a fairly pointless niche car however I personally find it to be very elegant, easily the prettiest of the 3/4 series family. However the X4 is equally pointless and irredeemably ugly, I honestly don't know how that design was signed off. It is a true shame that such a tasteless pile of censored will probably end up selling by the bucketload.

Looks good, a mini X6 with all the frothing hatred, bulging neck veins and vitriol but with less mass and parking space issues, but no doubt the arbiters will be proved right and this will never sell.

One can only assume one of two things...........BMW are in a time machine and they now think it is the 1st of April, or otherwise the person who designed this has been sectioned and is allowed out on a day release..........should have gone to spec savers!

Watch them sell boat loads of them. Hardly see an x6 but they are huge, maybe the x4 is the perfect car for....

Someone who doesn't want a 3 series saloon
And doesn't want a 3 series GT
Or a 3 series touring
Or a 4 series coupe
Or a 4 series grand coupe
Or an x3

I guess the thing that BMW tell me from all these new models is that designing and building new models is a whole lot cheaper than it use to be.

I think my biggest problem is that BMW haven't bought any game changers to the show. Nothing new, nothing exciting. Just another car that'll last the average 7 years of production, It won't stand out, it won't be remembered, it'll never be a classic and no one will ever take an arty photo of one.

Come on, what about the exciting 4 series grand coupe, which is like a 3 series saloon, but is a 4 series, so looks a bit different... Kind of... Maybe

Doesn't quite suit my specific needs. I'm going to hold out a few months until they announce the XZ4
You won't have to wait long, it'll be on a board somewhere in the 'strategic planning product dept' corner office.

I'd rather see a modern day M535i than this.

They make so many cars now perhaps BMW HQ just forgot they already make the X6?

However I do think the 5 Series is a quality car that really looks fantastic for a saloon. The 5 Series has always been their strongest car and is a winner in my eyes.

I do think it's about time BMW made a revolutionary design, not dreary jacked up cars which everyone else is doing.

It's physically impossible.
The 2.7 and 3.0 diesels were fitted transversely in the Citroen C5 & 6 so that need not be a problem. I just wonder if there's enough room in the engine bay.

What a shame. Soon to be patrolling the streets with st, over-bassed music playing, and some dickbag hanging off the steering wheel with one hand.

Mostly sold in white.

BMW: The Ultimate Douche Machine

Come on BM - what happened to the glorious shriek of the M3 CSLs, the bellow of the GTSs, the interesting stuff. Instead we get... the 2 series dork bus; the X4 dick tractor.
rofl Brilliant! Could not agree more!

I like it, lots of other people will like it, so what's the problem?

Granted its not aimed at the over 50's wink
As may be, but we over 50's can afford it!

Just don't want it
But us under 30 can afford it too, and much other cars.

I just don't understand the dislike just because its a BMW, and German and different.

Cars change wink

It's not because it's a BMW, German or different.

It's because it's fk ugly, pointless and they've already got a million other cars in the same bracket just to cover silly little niches that nobody bothered to ask for when they first walked into the BMW dealer.
