There is a market for these.
If there is then how long before someone undercuts 4DOT? This is some startup that convinced a bank to lend them the money on some 'premium product' spiel and a lot of flashy presentations.Never was there a more appropriate use of this meme..
Ahm oot!

Anyway, if people will and do pay a small fortune for some truly fking awful "personalised" number plates that need bunching, half a dozen black screw caps all over the place, dodgy letters and a lot of imagination (and for that matter needing to already know what it's supposed to say in some cases), they will buy these.
Never underestimate the awful, useless tat that people will buy if it is marketed correctly. (This isn't ofcourse.)
I think there is a point being missed here. Now I have had a chance to read some of the other sections, these guys have have shaped all the plates from 3D scans of the cars.
Agreed they are expensive, but i don't know of anyone else selling custom shaped Porsche and Aston Martin and even Aventador plates. SO I suppose if I had an Aventador i would have the money to splurge on these. lol

I don't suppose the OP's surname is Southern, is it?
If it is it's a pretty piss poor attempt to pull the wool. As for the plates I'm all for bigging up design, processes, manufacturing techniques etc but it's a number plate ffs. And it's £185.
I doubt we'll see many in Scotland, let's put it that way.

I don't know who Mr. Southern is, but if you could actually be bothered to spend just a couple of minutes looking at my profile, links to my place of work, and links to my flickr account (as found on many of my threads) you would find my surname quite easily. You would have also noticed that I am quite some distance from Weymouth and London. Certainly not commuting distance. Perhaps if you spent a bit more time reading instead of making fking stupid assumptions and recklessly insinuating things, you would have noticed that.
I quite clearly stated in the original post that I was not affiliated with this company. Are you calling me a liar?
If I must explain how I found this company, they posted in the south coast forum that they were looking for interesting cars to photograph at their studio for a new business venture. I knew nothing about what they were offering, but quite fancied some nice photos of my TVR. So I took it along, I had a tour of the premises and they explained what they did.
I thought it was a nice idea so I thought I'd share it with you. No ulterior motive.

You're new here aren't you.
101 months and over 5,000 posts, no, I'm quite well known here! Don't really hang out in GG much though, it's a bit strange.
It's more of an ironical sort of thing due to your length of tenure yet your surprise at what this place is like.....it doesn't matter.
