Ferrari 550 WSR - first time I've seen one

old Aston
Love the 550. One of a very small number of WSRs in UK.

Despite it's regular inclusion in the 'Worst Car' and 'Ugliest Car' lists regularly trotted out by the motoring press, I really like the William Towns Aston Martin Lagonda (see also Aston Martin DBS, Jensen-Healey) too. Only about 650 built over about 15 years and only about 50 left taxed and roadworthy in UK.
I agree about the Lagonda - definitely on my Lottery Car List. Whoever put the alloys on that one though should be taken out back and shot......

Apologies if this isn't exotic enough for the thread.

Saw it in Amsterdam in June - the first Turbo I've seen in 25 years!

ok its a bit of a cheat but

What counts as a WSR 550?

Someone needs to have a serious word with the owner of that Aston. Horrific wheel choice.

The 918 has a lot of work under production and runs 950hp so a little different from stock smile

Leather trimmed roll cage, carbon race seats, sports exhaust, sports suspension, larger fuel tank, suede steering wheel, harnesses, carbon sill plates & gear knob, numbered plaque and all the cars were Grigio with Bordeuax.

photo taken by a mate (in a left hand drive car obviously) today. Aston Martin Rapide Shooting Brake.

Looks fantastic I think - beautifully proportioned. Went right to the top of my list of potential family car replacements for maybe the car after next, until I found out this is the only one, and Aston were considering a limited run of 10 for £1.5m....

so - 1 of 1, top that!

I was out in the 918 again yesterday and having talked to the project engineers I'm at a loss to understand how the car can be "tuned" without throwing up endless errors or even worse breaking the engine

Also the standard is meant to be running >910 so why throw away the warranty for 40bhp, someone must be desperate to burn money

Anyway in its stock form its the best car I've ever driven on the road

I know its horses for courses, but that would still look st if it had a bit part in a cheap Transformers movie.
