I passed it on the M1 near London and posted it on this thread a few months ago. Looks very pretty in the flesh. Not worth a million quid, though. 90% of the cars driving by didn't give it a second glance.

The 918S is def the best of the electric supercars. Prettier and practicaler than the LF and P1. But the 918S is not selling well at all. The lack of F1 pedigree is playing against it.
Given Ferrari and Macca's performance this year I can't see that really being the issue!

I don't think those wheels do the car any favours at all. All in my humble opinion though of course.

Because this whole Oakley thing is a load of BS ... and this zeus guy is either Oakley or part of Oakley.
Either way, it has so much presence, looks incredible. (Picture isn't mine, stolen off Facebook)

Don't think that's the reason also Porsche is the most successful sports car manufacturer.
Selling a million-dollar supercar to a millionaire / billionaire is different to selling a 150k SUV / sportscar to a soccer mom / middle manager.

At the $1m level, everyone wants to be Vettel and drive a quasi-F1 car. The Porsche brand at the very highest level can't yet deliver that perception.

Few spots from around Puerto Banus last week

And my fav, Beetle RSI. 250 built, served as a kind of test car for the MK4 R32 as it was fitted with the 3.2 V6 and AWD if I recall correctly. Had a couple of people on a yacht it was next to laugh at me for taking a picture of the Beetle in a sea of Ferraris. rolleyes

Hi there,

Thats what I'm talking about. Great Spot !!!

Strangely was tidying my garage out yesterday and found my 1/18 scale Autoart VW Beetle RSi. Gave it a dust off and it now sits on top of the printer in my office.

Regards

Tim

Id have to fire up my vintage Nokia camera phone to check but used to see probably the same one in the port 7 or 8 years ago. Always thought of them like VWs Clio v6 - a bit daft and not great cars but full of character.

Nope, a standard car in diamondschwartz with an Evo 3 spoiler. Nice though.
