It is not often that you spot a car that won its class in the 1949 Mille Miglia driving along the road!

For the past year i have walked past it. Always made me smile as it had current tax on it.

I have not been past for a while so i'm not sure where it has gone, or if its still there. And yes its in Mayfair haha

Few spots from around Puerto Banus last week

And my fav, Beetle RSI. 250 built, served as a kind of test car for the MK4 R32 as it was fitted with the 3.2 V6 and AWD if I recall correctly. Had a couple of people on a yacht it was next to laugh at me for taking a picture of the Beetle in a sea of Ferraris. rolleyes

Hi there,

Thats what I'm talking about. Great Spot !!!

Strangely was tidying my garage out yesterday and found my 1/18 scale Autoart VW Beetle RSi. Gave it a dust off and it now sits on top of the printer in my office.

Regards

Tim

Off to to the big smoke on Saturday. Have a few hours to kill before the football. What's the best place to spot something unusual? I've done the usual knightsbridge crawl far too many times. Will be stopping in at HR Owen as they usually have something unique in, not sure where else to go.
