Phrases often become common parlance when they explain exactly what is meant and insinuated quickly and simply.

How does one go about explaining to another poster that an Aston Cygnet isn't a supercar or terribly rare? A standard 458 may fit the supercar bracket, but also isn't very rare in London. A 599 GTO is very rare, particularly in RHD.
One could always try explaining it without coming across like a condescending prick. Perhaps where the poster saw the Cygnet it IS rare? After all, he did say it was his first.

Thanks wijit, yes it is rare, around here anyway and like I said in my post I know its not a super car, just having a prestige badge on it and the attention it was getting I thought worthy of mention, I certainly wasnt going to start a new thread and this thread being the nearest thing to prestige and pretty pics then here it was.

The owner was from London up here for the weekend and couldnt believe how many comments he had, its not like the land that time forgot up north, plenty of current and past footballers round here Liverpool& Everton and the cars that go with that, so its not like a Cygnet is 'OMFG guess what I saw' special, just out the norm.. il snap pics of super dooper cars next to keep the beard strokers happy. smile

Always thought the Viper looked a bit like a cut and shut job
They weren't exactly built to amazing standards, especially the first ones, but then, they weren't meant to be either.

That one is cheapened by the colours, stickers and wing and such though it certainly stands out. Vipers aren't exactly shy and retiring cars.

Took my youngest son to London for the day and he got these shots. The Ferrari in the dealership window I've never seen or heard of before, couldn't quite read the font on the front but it looked like it said Sergio?
Not keen on the gold one and not seen a convertible G Wagon before either

That's the Pininfarina Sergio concept car. Designed and built by the Pininfarina design team as a tribute to Sergio Pininfarina who died in 2012.

It was shown at the 2013 Geneva motorshow, and is a lightweight styling exercise based on the guts of a 458 Spider

They should start charging a reasonable price for them then people wouldn't need to buy 99p ones off ebay

Sorry, didnt realise it was a hooky sticker. That Viper is tame in comparison to his other cars. His Hummer has 'Tony the Tiger' airbrushed on the side. I'll get a pic of it the next time it's at the pub.

"Ferrari Something"

I wouldn't have guessed that with a million guesses

I can hand on heart (not proudly I might add) say I have never heard of a 512BB
You need to play Top Trumps more, it won everything back in the day biggrin

Eclectic mix from a week in France. Saw a few Lambo and Ferrari also but nothing out of the ordinary.

I was there with my black cs, loved every second on track. It was not long after this I decided I wanted a scud, all the gt3 430 and scuds around were just fantastic. But the real daddy was the enzo, he flew past me twice and it's not normal for me to be happy about being overtaken but being it was an enzo I just grinned.
