Quality spot. Forget the image resolution, that's "the finest boulevardier of all times!", as Don King might say.

Not the usual stuff for this thread, but I've been in the US for the last few weeks and seen some great cars:

Lovely.

Datsun 240K GL coupe on Abu Dhabi plates with an interesting gearknob

Modified Cadillac Eldorado

Avorio crema F12

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse, in full brown carbon

And I think this is an original Type 35, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Spotted in South Kensington.

"The Shareef don't like it!"

Great pictures, some very intriguing spots and good that you take the time to find out what they are and annotate the model names to the posts.

I particularly like that Datsun, and the Cadillac is ever so louche. Talking of Eldorado's, they are surely one of the most "placed" cars in film. 'Casino', Boss Hogg's steed in 'The Dukes of Hazzard', and famously steered by Nick Nolte whilst giving Eddie Murphy a smack in '48hrs'. They were everywhere.

But also sang about by the Clash - with one following an armadillo up the road in the 'Rock the Casbah' music video. Peradventure, the scuttling armadillo references an anti-war poem by Elizabeth Bishop, but who knows! As kids we used to sneak into the Elgin on Ladbroke Grove and try and get served. It was also a haunt of Joe Strummer as I think he lived nearby. Lesson in life: always ask the question you want to ask if the moment arises, as you'll never know when you'll get another chance. I should have got it off my chest at the time:

"Mr Strummer, what's the deal with the Cadillac chasing an armadillo down the street to the petrol station?"

That lives on the road all year on a very busy road. Glad the owner enjoys it as a daily.

As we're popping down tomorrow, does anyone know what road that might be?

That car was first registered (in UK) in April last year, but it was built in 1925, so either an original Type 35 or a Type 35A. Cool spot.
