A Maybach heading toward the M3 from Farnborough Airport this afternoon. I'm sure it had a 'M? BAK' or 'M? BAC' number plate, but I was too busy driving to take pictures or detailed notes.

I honestly cannot remember. I thought that was the most likely combination, but when I checked the DVLA site, and cartell.ie, with all single digit combos, either the combo doesn't exist or it's assigned to another vehicle. It's not all that important, I was just wondering which two-bit "celebrity" was wafting through Farnborough in chauffeur driven luxury is all.

Possibly this? I did read (probably on here somewhere) that it belonged to some name or other but can't remember who.

Deffo not that particular car, unless it's been repainted recently. The one I saw was black, or something dark enough to be mistaken for black, anyways.

They still have a certain charm, don't they? I'd still prefer an Esprit from the same era though - a Turbo, please.
