I never, ever tire of F40s. I'll never forget being at Silverstone in 2012 for the 25th anniversary and there were literally dozens of them. And, if you've never heard of him - look up the name John Pogson on YouTube.
Amen, one of the best days out ever! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcTcP7yGdq4

I got my spotted page up-to-date last week and dug out a couple of old ones.
And this, I suspect, is probably one of the first photos I ever took at a race track. 1991, Oulton Park, Maranello Challenge and I was seven years old. My love affair with the red cars continues to this day.
More here and the usual narrative nonsense: http://www.motorcardiaries.co.uk/spotted/

Got stuck in traffic with an XJ220 yesterday
On a totally unrelated note. I would have the F50 over an F40. The F40 is so edgy and a great car for your friend to have, to me the F50 seems much more usable but retaining a huge dose of ridiculous. You can really feel the F40 and F50 DNA in the Enzo which is great but I wouldn't want to have to make the decision between the two! The reality is, if you are in the position to buy you would end up splitting hairs and going for the era that most resonates with you - they are all incredible!
I've spent countless hours debating which one I'd have. Not that I ever will, I'd just like to finally solve it in my head :P On a totally unrelated note. I would have the F50 over an F40. There's one area where the F50 wins hands down; that NOISE. Saw (and heard) one at Goodwood for the first time a few years back and I simply couldn't believe how incredible they sound, it howls and screams like a racing car. But then it would, considering it has the F92/A's engine block
