Whether people like it or not, this might be the perfect car. There is a reason Bentley Continentals and Range Rovers are so popular and this will mate them. I am excited to see one.
I think you have a very valid point. I've spent most of the last 3-4 weeks working in and around Ascot, Hersham, Cobham and surrounding areas and have seen lots and lots of Bentleys and Range Rovers amongst a few other quicker exotic machines. I normally have a brew in Cobham high street post early morning school run and at first was amazed at the amount of new Range Rovers I saw there, until I sussed out that they just appear to be run of the mill/the motor of choice in this area. Regardless of looks I see the new Bentley doing very well in these areas, I personally don't think its a looker, but I do quite like the Range Rover.CRA1G said:
An Estrol ZM Coupe 57,000 mile car sold at Silverstone auctions yesterday for just over £37500 Inc fees...!
Mind you I prefer Dakar..but may be a bit bias..
WHAT?! Mind you I prefer Dakar..but may be a bit bias..
When did they go so mental price wise? How has this escaped me?! Last time I looked I am sure breadvans were kicking around mid to late teens! I had a few laps around Goodward in one many moons ago and couldn't really see what all the fuss was about to be honest.

I was hoping to start a virtual brawl but I am glad I am not the only one to think it! cc8s said:

Its funny really as 15 years ago I was all into the jap scene, with my little Nissan 200sx and its Blitz nur spec exhaust. Widebodied Skylines and such were the things i was really into, (although the f40 poster was always on my wall.) Back then i'd have laughed at the thought or such a thing as a Porsche jeep, or heaven forbid a bloody 4 door 911
Fast forward 15 years and its a complete role reversal so to speak, I guess i'm just getting old. I think the Bentley will do well in its market, its not my cup of tea but i'm sure Bentley will be happy with the results.
I'm going back in my garage for another look at my poster
