haha fair enough, I don't know enough about old Renaults to know. Even though my dad had two 21 Turbos when I was a kid!

I assume the decal was mispositioned after the paint job? I also assume they aren't standard wheels? or if they are they have been polished.
The wheels are either period Gotti split rims or later Mad-in versions. These got you a wider and cheaper range of imperial sized tyres, rather than the standard metric TRX turbine Gottis, which required Michelin tyres only. Horses for courses really. I think you're right about the mis-positioned decal. That does annoy me: it only takes a couple of minutes on the internet to check that out before applying them.

This is what this thread is about - sharing facts and discussing the details of something spotted. Brilliant.

That's a 911 Sport Classic.
Not as rare as a 4.0, but still very limited run and a great spot!
That's the badger! Completely forgot about the sport classic.
It's not.
So would sir care to enlighten us? ?
It's very obviously just a basic Carrera with a ducktail spoiler and some fancy wheels added.
It also has front bumper and stripes. OP, did you see the interior colour? If it's brown then it's definitely genuine. Looks the real deal to me.
I'm with the "copy" fraternity. It's really nice anyway - and some of the details are correct (bumper, black rings round the headlights etc.) but the Porsche nerd in me thinks the daylight running lights etc. in the bumpers are wrong - and I'm pretty sure it hasn't got the double-bubble roof, which is a bit tougher to copy than bumpers & stripes.... Also, if it is genuine, I suggest it's been painted because I'm fairly sure all sports classics were grey... a colour called "sport classic grey".

'tis lovely though - and I'd happily have it as a daily :-)

It's a very good copy, but definitely, 100% a copy. As has been mentioned before the 911 Sport Classic was based on the 997.2, and this is a 997.1. The key is in the aux lights in the bumper.

The 911 is a sport classic copy for the reasons stated, I did spot one a few weeks ago (a real one) at a shell garage near Darwin in Lancs with isle of man plates on it, filling up at the next pump.

Lovely cars in the flesh.

Spotted at my local Tesco.

Vauxhall Insignia VXR 4X4 Turbo Sport Tourer

Definitely one for the rarity side of this thread. Less than 300 according to How Many Left.

From the article:
Bentley-Bentayga Nurburgring Testing, You can see how the vehicle uses traction and stability management to actually turn in, as it wallows its way around the track. It’s ridiculous, but at least it shows the Bentayga will be plush, comfortable cruiser that will be able to climb more curbs than any Bentley before it.

Spotted this at the Nurburgring last weekend.

The McLaren 675LT.

Some specs.
Top speed - 205 MPH
0-62 - 2.9 seconds
Power - 666 BHP
Max Torque - 700 NM

Its called the 675LT because it has 675PS, just in case you were wondering.

Cheers guys!

Twice in 2 weeks now i've seen a yellow rs200 near Whalebone Lane, Dagenham. Can't say it is genuine but it does look and sound the part.

Today in Esher heard a car rumbling away on a private driveway and just after i'd driven by I caught a glimpse of it in my mirrors, sadly going the other way but a gorgeous blue and white 6R4
