So Mercedes make an E63 coupe for some markets then?
Good point...

Seemed genuine enough, although front spoiler looked aftermarket.

Here is another interesting one:

Badged as a Hartge H11S, but I can't find anything on google...

I know this is a pics thread but I saw a BAC Mono on Chelsea Embankment in traffic on Friday evening - can't be many around. Looked fairly extraordinary in the evening rush-hour!

No pics as it's a faff to get my phone out when I'm on my bike.

There was a heavily modified pick up truck I followed it yesterday afternoon. From Tippetts Corner area, past Wimbledon Common down into Wimbledon and out towards South Wimbledon Tube.

C reg. Faded Orange/Red paint Looked like something out of Mad Max, no interior that I could make out, a huge hole cut in the roof. Jacked right up, all the body panels were modified or cut away. Had a sticker on the back "Parts may fall off" 2 Exhausts came up through the back and up high. Those plastic "balls" hanging on the back of it. Guy driving (dreadlocks I think) it had his metal music right up loud. Literally no idea what make or model. Though a Google search suggest might have started as an Isuzu Amigo with flared/wide arches confused

It was FANTASTIC! If anyone knows it or has pics I'd be interested.

I am! It's slightly different bodywise when I saw it, but clearly the same car.

I wouldn't want to own it, but as a car with presence on the road. People were stopping and pointing. But that's the idea with Rat look I guess.

Badly modified? Question of opinion obviously. Not really IMO. To me a hatchback with a whacking great wing on the back is worse. Completely incongruent to the look of the car.

As a "look" the truck works to my eyes. Utterly daft looking and there's probably not another like it in the country. So rarity guaranteed. But then I know a lot of people were polarized on the E28 that Stanceworks built. And I loved that as well.

Zero Fks given by both owners biggrin

Japan parking meter. It's a rotating plate. It's flat to the ground when you drive into the space, then rotates up as you park so if you drive off it'll take out the rear axle. Parking timer starts as it goes up, and you pay when you come back to the car, usually to nearest 15 or 10 minutes. Rotates down again when you've paid. No ticket in windscreen, no need to guess exact time in advance, no need to rush back.

Went to see my grandmother yesterday (do a bit of gardening for her and use her hose to clean the Boxster. smile)

Look up and notice, in front of a neighbours drive- a brand new, bright orange Huracán.

I've always thought they look a bit oddly proportioned in photos/video games but looks amazing in the flesh, sounded fantastic, too.

Sadly no pictures, but was nice to see!

Clever! Someone would just try and drive off here, then sue the council for the inconvenience and poor signage.

That's great. He is clearly rather more interested in what you are driving as he's about to have an accident!

Think I have quite a fun gratuitous own car plug with a rarity spot somewhere......
