Just a quick query to ask if there's much to see in London at the moment?
Mini wijit would love to see a P1 wild, or even LaF, but as we are a bit time-restrained we need to be a bit smart where we go.
No. There's nothing whatsoever in London, except for taxis and buses. I wouldn't bother coming until 2017 or so...

You say there's nothing, then you say taxis and busses!
What road would I see them on?

Saw this driving through Bicester earlier, not that up to speed on the older generation Porsches, it had a roll cage fitted and had RSR written on the spoiler. Either way it made a nice change to all the later model Porsche I see driving around

Isdera Imperator 108i! Tipped off about it in another PH thread: in a closing down Citroen garage owned by the Isdera owner's friend. What a wonderful car!

Full set here: Facebook link.

Video of slow movement but excellent sound here: Facebook link 2

Check out the pedal offset! I bet there aren't many high mileage examples due to back pain. hehe

Went and had a look for myself today. Awesome car and if you have a spare £220,000 its yours!

I Prom night. Serious business. I was doing chauffeur duties so couldn't take pics. I asked my other daughter to take pics of anything interesting and she managed to miss just about everything.

There was a gallardo superleggera , some sort of cobra 427 don't know if it was real. Lots of classic cars I couldn't identify from my position in the queue and these.

This Audi was immaculate. Obviously had a ton of money thrown at it.

Still can't understand anyone paying £300 plus for a short taxi ride to a school disco.

Me either but we live in a different era.

Last time I took my daughter there were list of stretched limos and obviously hired cars.

I think this year lots of people got their relatives to did out their classics. Only a couple of stretch limos.

I gave my daughter a choice, she chose the 300c must get that Dna test sorted. Although I think it looked the part and I put a suit on and pretended.

Hmmmm perhaps I can make some money doing this smile

Might want to avoid using your forum name in any way if you're going to try................

Although agree about the classics comment, my nephew went to his prom in a relatives immaculate black Jaguar MK2, got far more attention than the common stretch limos that littered the place.

I really hate the concept of it all. Fair enough if the parents can spend £300 without thinking about it but its a bit bizarre when you see people getting picked up in some council estate hellhole in a rental thats cost some poor fker a weeks wages (or a couple of weeks benefits)

One of the security guards in the resort I live in has kids at a local regular school here (portugal). i took his kid and 3 of their friends to a prom thing a couple of weeks ago in my Cayenne. The kids were happy and it certainly doesn't do any harm to keep in the good books of the blokes looking after your security while you're not there so I didn't mind helping out. I just think its all a bit weird though.
