Lovely.

Are Dimma still around? Was a big fan of the wide arch kits back in the day.

Very nice! Whereabouts in Sweden was this? I've seen some really nice metal driving around recently, probably due to the nice weather and people taking their holidays.

Nasty full length fabric sunroof though. That reduces its value dramatically.

Also non standard seats, wheels, grilles, mirror, colour, missing decals etc.

Still nice though.

A random one last night.
Went to drop off an old sofa at the charity furniture place and this was parked opposite.
Had a Rover V8 and a bottle of NOS strapped in the back.

The guy who owns this lives round the corner from me. It has a 4.2 V8 Audi lump in it, hence the plate wink It sounds great.

Hi there,

Spotted on Deansgate, Manchester around midday today

Regards

Tim
Thats my friend Will's car, he's only had it for a month or so. Stunning in and out and still has that slight edge of bonkers about it. Tiny inside, huge outside - even at 5'8, him getting in is a work of art.

Sounds epic though above 4k.

Usually parked or driving through Alderley Edge.
How does Will afford such a runaround, what is his profession.

Now that IS valuable! Where did you spot it?

It's one of the much rarer Turbo 1 versions and in the best colour. Looks to be all correct as well (no sunroof, original seats, standard exhaust & mirror, correctly placed decals). I don't suppose you got a photo of the interior? If it's still got its zany original steering wheel (they've been known to break!), then it really is very special indeed. The owner has done very well to track that down. Basically it's the perfect specification and therefore worth a fortune.

The only thing I would change would be to go back to the original Gotti TRX turbine rims.

How much are these worth then?

Love the Z1 and have never seen one with a hardtop (not that I have seen many ever anyway). Was that BMW made/supplied?

Here's a nice restored one for sale in Holland at EUR 100,000 (= GBP 72,000)

http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=...

Another in Germany at EUR 90,000 (= GBP 65,000)

http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=...

And finally one in Italy at EUR 79,000 (= GBP 57,000)

http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/details.html?id=...

But none of these are to the same ideal specification as the Olmypic Blue one spotted above. Assuming it's in top nick, I reckon it's worth at least GBP 75,000 to a wealthy collector
