Japs mafia love black mercs and white cars with amg kits and those cars all together and looking quite tidy given they are from the 1990s just had to be imported

Ahh! Thank you! Nice to get some background. Haven't flicked through Mercedes Enthusiast in ages, so had no frame of reference.

Appreciated.
Hi there,

For sure, I thought your original comment was most likely to be spot on. It certainly made sense; I just waver between rationalism and empiricism day to day and needed something firm to chew on for once! smile

AMGs of the nineties - no scrub that - German performance cars of the late eighties, nineties, just seem to look and appear functionally spot on, don't they? M-B with their Hammers, 500es and whatnot just look....correct....imposing. I suppose if I was American, I'd get all feverish over a Buick GNX.

One day!

Rare colour is it puruga red ?
that colour is called Vinaccia

It's a standard Ferrari colour but i've only seen one other 458 with it.

also seen on 599 and F430

Chris Evans had one with Nero interior and different wheels in Vinaccia.

Isn't that a Noble M600?
No,

Side skirt/intake is definitely Lamborghini.

And it has the 'SV' logo towards the front too,

And a very nice 599 GTO also not in Red. I suspect Audi must be bulk buying Red paint at the moment (see above)

Gorgeous BMW M1

Great colour combo on the GTO.

What's the green car next to the M1? Exige?

Bentley Mulsanne parked up on Lime Street. Wouldn't ordinarily have bumped the thread without a picture but it had a French Bull Dog on a lead attached to the Flying B on the bonnet guarding the front of the vehicle.

Hi there,

Part of the fun for me when I attend meetings like the FIA WEC at Silverstone is having a nosey round the paddock and car parks etc for any interesting bits and bobs. With both Silverstone and Oulton Park in two days there was a fair bit to see. I know some visitors to this thread frown on 'spotted' cars from events such as these but hey ho.
Did you see the yellow McLaren P1 on Saturday? Jackie Stewart was standing next to me and said it was "too flash" hehe

Hi there,

Sorry, did not get to see the yellow one at Silverstone on Saturday.

Had to make do with the metallic red one that was there on Friday.

Reminds me of this photo from a recent Speedhunters article covering a meet in in Japan...

Hi there,

There seem to be a few of these about now. This one was on the A556 out of Manchester on Weds night.

Then a Silver one of the A453 near Donington Park tonight.

I have to say they can really shift, the Dutch registered one above shot off once the traffic clear, caught me napping.

0-60 in up to 4.2 secs and 130 mph, with a range of nearly 300 miles.

Electric cars have come on a long way in the last few years!

Friend of mine runs his own magazine and website and had one on test last weekend. On German plates.

It was epically fast but a very strange sensation as there's no gears or noise. A stunning feat of engineering and technology though. And a very well put together car.

Spotted further down my village high street - very nice Wraith. The property belongs to Peter Cruddas, so may be one of his cars I guess..?

Jessie J has a blue french bulldog just like that one wonder if there's a connection?

Although frenchies for Londoners are like fashion accessories these days.
