Supercars spotted, some rarities (vol 6)
Discussion
Spied a/ the?! Marcos TSO at the weekend not far from home....presuming it was related to the Shere Hill Climb, as there were quite a few nice cars around Newlands Corner. No pics, yet again, as the Marcos was heading in the opposite direction and I didn't spot it until the last minute. Looked lovely as it went by though - proportions are spot on!
Technically not a spot as such, but this will be one of the few times I get to see one of these in action.

Spotted at Spa. My car of the day, colour scheme is spot on in my opinion, so menacing. Driver wasn't hanging around either!

Braking hard for La Source hairpin, all the while banging down the gears. Awesome sight and sound. I was more impressed by the 599XX than by the FXX K and even the F1 cars.
The 599XX was designed as a platform for electronics & driveability R&D. They have a lot of driver assists - this probably allows the driver to lean on it more than an FXX or FXXK (hehe). The FXX is quite a bit quicker than the 599XX from a pure numbers point of view - considerably lighter and more powerful. The FXX K must be mental.

The one FXX going round was driven carefully, but some of the FXX K's looked to be driven quite hard. I guess it's just that I expected the FXX and FXX K to be mental, the 599XX not so much. The appearance might also contribute to that, the FXX K looks like a spaceship with wheels. The 599XX looks more like a normal car.The FXX is quite a bit quicker than the 599XX from a pure numbers point of view - considerably lighter and more powerful. The FXX K must be mental.

Johno the car was probably me as I was at the hill climb in a TSO. Here is a picture taken at Bromley Pageant earlier this year, this what you saw? To the best of my knowledge there are 3 in the UK, 3 in Germany, 1 in France and 1 last seen in California plates. Although not a definitive list definitely 'a' TSO rather than 'the' TSO.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
