I guess the typhoon rain kept them all in. I landed on Monday and I think it rained non-stop until I left on Friday.
Yes, miserable weather until Thursday, but the sun (and cars) reappeared Friday lunchtime.

Spotted on Tottenham Court Road. Couldn't see the reg but saw one the day before in Highgate, same colour, sporting the reg POR 918X. Wonder if it was the same car?

Got a few awful back-seat pics of a fairly famous bloke driving this:

Sporting the number plate 22 JET, here's better library photos:

This drove past the R8 just after the picture was taken

My Dad is looking for a new car, so we bobbed in to Bowkers in Preston yesterday and this was sat in the corner of the showroom:

Lovely!

Lovely indeed. I've never seen one in the metal. What's the story behind this one?

A few recent ones from me.
A mix from Milton Keynes and various travels around Europe over the summer.
Is the last one some sort of Weissmann copy?

I'm not sure I'm afraid - I didn't ask (we were concentrating on trying to get some money off a 320d!)

It's in lovely condition, UK registered and looked very much like one of the Procar race cars with the big wing & the (BBS?) wheels, but the interior was trimmed like a road car so I'm not sure if it is a converted race car or a jazzed-up road car.

It's a 1990s Wiesmann MF3.

Interesting, thanks.
Didn't realise they were around back then.

Driving back to London from Devon yesterday, I noticed this in the carpark at our lunch stop on the A30. A Jowett Javelin. Semed to be a runner. The driver's sunglasses were perched jauntily on the dash.

Lovely Bentley, odd that it seems to have a Spirit of Ecstasy as well.

The soft top was the Jowett Jupiter.

I wonder if this one is taking advantage of the recent Pre-1960 no MOT required law? Or is everything mechanical truly up to scratch?

You're correct. I automatically typed "Javelin". smile

It´s a Mulliner Park Ward Rolls Royce of around the mid 60s. Lovely!
