Pretty sure it's a requirement in the UK
Around half of US states don't require them, and cars do look better without them but the law's the law..
it's only a requirement on vehicles which have a specifically designed place for it to go. Not sure if there is one on a Veyron or not.Around half of US states don't require them, and cars do look better without them but the law's the law..

"In the case of a motor cycle or a motor tricycle which does not have a body of a type which is characteristic of the body of a four-wheeled vehicle—
(a) a registration plate must not be fixed on the front of a vehicle if it was first registered on or after 1st September 2001"

Too rich to display number plates?
Only noticed lack of plate afterwards - It was a bit of a shock as it's my first Veyron ( don't get to London much ) - quite a presence on the road and just managed to drop the window to hear the engine. My son spotted it roughly where the red car was and luckily had his iPad to hand and he got 8 photos.
It looked like one of the local millionaires driving so it may be new to the area.
