Too rich to display number plates? rolleyes
Why would you come to this thread if you get wound up by rich people?

(Rhetorical)
There's also no link between someones net worth and their need to display number plates so not sure what he's getting at, I didn't run a front plate on my £500 MX5 for a while, does that mean people were looking at me thinking 'wow bet he's loaded, no front plate'??
No, you've missed the point Danny.

smithyithy's comment is a variant on the idea that very wealthy people don't have to abide by the laws that us normal folk have to.

ETA: for the record, I think it's a silly comment.

See the last page though, Veyron, 918, P1.. No plates on any of them. I must've seen a dozen Aventadors over the last year all without front plates.

I know on some cars it's awkward to fit a plate on the front, but there's a clear mindset with some of those owners that they'd rather break the law and pay the (relatively) minor fine because they can afford to.

When I asked the chap switching on the Veyron he specifically asked if I only take photos from the front. The plates no all 3 cars were Arabic. I assume they had/have no intention of having front plates!

Argh that looks really st. I mean it's an awesome car mechanically and dynamically, but the appearance is a mess. Can't be standard surely?!

Looks standard to me.....however, it also looks ste! May work in black but IMO the 1st Generation 997 GT3 RS in orange was the daddy.

Followed W1LEY today, black 2016 Mclaren 570s, near Settle.
Lovely car, and glorious sound, but attempted to do a very dodgy overtake.
Typically, I live about 3/4 of a mile from him, and never see it...!

I hope you told him to get over himself and took whatever pictures you wanted. Car in a public place - no klaw against taking pictures ...

Spotted this beautiful beast (no, not the driver!) outside the Pedal On bicycle shop where I'd stopped to look at a new mountain bike.
He left just after me (you couldn't miss the sound of that thing sparking into life) so I stopped and nabbed the second photo as he waited to turn out of the car park.

Anyone on here? I was wearing my PH cycle jacket.

That's the place. I think he was in there picking up some parts as I was preparing to leave.
