What's with the plastic film on the front?
If at Bruntingthorpe, like most airfields the surface can throw up quite a lot of grit, stones etc so probably just a temporary bit of protection. I needed a front end respray on my first elise after a day at Elvington.simonr100 said:

I do love these! They were always a dream as a child.Would love to know the story behind this one, as I am pretty sure 99% of 220's are not parked outside a house in suburbia with a VW camper parked next to it..

Just walked round the corner to see if it was still there in the daylight and it's been joined by a old camper van
A set of wheels and tyres for an XJ220 would probably pay the rent on that house for a year or two. So its no wonder he's swapped them for Halfords BBS specialsEdited by BlueHave on Monday 8th August 01:40
Was out yesterday valeting a customers car when what can only be described as the God of Thunder waking up next door, I was too slow with my phone to grab a picture of it leaving, but it was so loud i had plenty of warning on its return journey.
Had a chat with the owner, nice bloke, apparently the car was silver from the factory which he plans to return to the original colour. Car apparently a nightmare to drive and is proper loud inside so hasnt been used that much. Made my weekend.

Not strictly Supercar spotting but look how bloody big a Cayman is compared to an old Mercedes saloon!
