A few decent time cars out this morning... Phone photos only so not the best quality.

W124 estate... nice!
In the background there is a McLaren 688HS - one of 25. Quite rare MSO cars. Active rear wing like the P1 and 679 bhp.

I didn't realise what it was... There was a McLaren guy there, so guess that he was the one that brought it along.

I'm not a huge McLaren fan, but Andy's GTR looks great. Woppum's, with the chrome bits, wheels etc less so.

On the other side of the road that was a Carrera GT in silver that just blended into the background.
biggrin

I hope they were going somewhere better than SW1.

Max Chilton got a lift to town in the GTR. Jealous!

I find that pic rather depressing actually.

But then I suppose that's tinged by my dislike of pay drivers like Chilton, Maldonado, Palmer, Pedro Diniz. laugh

One for the bad parking thread, perhaps, but you don't see this kind of thing parked on a residential street in Cambridge every day...

I'm not jealous of Andy/the GTR, I'm jealous of Max getting to go in the GTR!

And Chilton lives around the corner from me, I could've easily jumped in instead! biggrin

The HS is a customer car thumbup The McLaren guy would have been there with the 12C MSO demo car (with every concievable MSO option for the 12C on it, pretty much). The 12C MSO there was white with a carbon stripe over it.

There is a 688 parked in the basement of one of our developments. They must be all getting delivered now.

Saw an M4 GTS in Fleet today. Fairly sure it was genuine, although it sounded like a synthesised auto on the upshift. Are they all manual?

For some reason, I've never liked the standard urq with a Sport bonnet. Love the sport, love the urq, but not that combination. And I hadn't even noticed the sport front grille and bumper. Very unusual over there, though, in any form.

I can't count how many New BMW's I've purchased... A new i8 last year from the same dealer i ordered from,i was asked to list my classic colection and required to sign a document to say i would not sell for financial gain... but according to the dealership the decision comes direct from BMW who decides who is allocated a car...

Thats ridiculous and very difficult to enforce. Why dont they just make some more if they are that concerned. That would end all the speculation.

Reminds me of queuing outside a club for 45mins, when they finally let us in there was hardly anyone in there!
