I do apologise. I'll try redeem myself with this beauty. Crappy picture but its a Alpina B12 5.7 V12. One of 57. Wow it did look cool with the pop up lights in the heavy rain.
What a refreshing change to see a proper man car instead of the usual new lambo, maccy or Ferrari Edited by STIfree on Wednesday 26th October 00:28

Spotted on a golf course in Carmel.. Mr Stroll's stunner. Jackie Stewart brought in to give it a few revs.
That's Ferrari P4 chassis #0856 and probably the best one. It was very successful when new in 1967: 1st 1000km Monza, 2nd Daytona 24 hours, 3rd Le Mans 24 hours. It was owned for 20 years by David Clarke, of Graypaul Ferrari, Loughborough fame. It became so valuable that I believe he thought the money could be better used elsewhere, so he sold it in 1988 and donated the proceeds of the sale to a local children's charity (hospice I think).
