My dealer isn't bothered about that on a 650 but won't touch an LT with no CF packs or standard seats.
I find it hilarious/very sad (delete as applicable depending on what side of bed I got out of) that the aesthetic spec on supercars can have such an impact on saleability. Surely they all drive the same and will turn heads no matter what if well designed? When/if (please let it be when) this "flipping" phase (pun intentional) is over, could the options market could take a hit and drive up base model costs to compensate? Or will it never end?! I know that it's a perfectly legal and logical business process to "flip" for profit, but it doesn't mean that I have to like it.
Why do you think Ferrari has their list of favoured people?
Not that it stops the ones on the list in the first place but still.

Preaching to the convertedI know that it's a perfectly legal and logical business process to "flip" for profit, but it doesn't mean that I have to like it.
I couldn't get on the LT list
I looked at buying a flippers cars but A refused to pay twice my 650 value and B couldn't find one in a spec that worked for me because everyone specced loads of CF and track day options
It pisses me off the number of "drivers" cars that site around unused and VAT qualifying so the flippers can make a bit more money
I wish they'ed go and put their money elsewhere
As far as I have heard CF hasn't had a disproportionate impact on cars selling. It's simply a question of where they are priced and people without heaps of CF simply need to bear that in mind when pricing cars against others being for sale that might have a lot more. CF parts are ultimately quite easily retrofitted. Bucket seats are much less so and are the really important one to have picked imo.

why do people believe this is a new car phenomenon? Has anyone been looking at classic values recently???
Hm? No one said it was? It's the entire (potentially) collectible market that is high. I don't think I've ever seen anyone say it's a new car phenomenon anywhere, as classics clearly have gone up in value by insane amounts.DannyScene said:
Penfolds - Do you still hide your watermarks?
Always passes time in the office searching for them, Struggling to find them on the latest pictures though
They are there .. Yet another Great set Penfolds - as always stunning. Always passes time in the office searching for them, Struggling to find them on the latest pictures though
ETA The watermark on Pagani was difficult and had to resort to zoom cheat.

Lambo. Vertical under the traffic lightAlways passes time in the office searching for them, Struggling to find them on the latest pictures though
Aston. Above the end of the wall by the black railing
McLaren. Brick in the wall
Zonda. Not a clue
WRT to the Zonda. Not sure if that's the owners residence, but surely it would be better garaged than stuck outside in the elements?
