Having lived in Aus as a lad I always fancied buying a rhd Kenworth and shipping it back just to use as a daily driver, remove the 5th wheel and tax it as PLG it would make that one look like a tonka toy!
Yes I did used to watch BJ and the Bear
Oh yes Yes I did used to watch BJ and the Bear
There is a recovery company in Kent I think that have 1 of these converted to a wrecker, in BJ and the Bear colours

Has he still got that? It would have taken ages as the turning circle on that would be lousy. I'd probably be able to spin a unit and trailer in a tighter spot than that (well if the DVLA get their arse in gear and give me a bloody answer.)

Three point!? That would be impressive in that!
And yes, NY Recovery in Kent have, amongst other things, this;
There is also Mick Gould with this;
A couple of years ago I followed this up the A229 out of Maidstone and the sight of it, the noise, and the smoke coming from the twin stacks was an impressive and very pleasing thing.
Edit: - Years before that I worked at an HGV main dealer and this recovered a cab to us.
The driver showed us around it and under the bonnet.
The turbo charger was almost the size of a bucket!

Someone in Woking has a similar truck, it's red and chrome, it's always parked up within the boundary of their house like it's on their drive, you can see it from the main Guildford to Woking road, I haven't a clue if they use it or its just there for show.

hilariously it actually looks like the parking space is giant enough to fit that monster in it, had the guy next to him parked properly!!Martin350 said:

Mick's stable is rather impressive these days. Lovely bloke too, loves performance and isn't afraid to drive a wild handling drag car VERY hard.That would be impressive in that!

As an aside, if you're interested in Mick's line of work, have a nose at the forum on his website.

Much work time being wasted looking through his site!
Hi there,
Leaving the office tonight and to make a change it was still daylight which was nice, turned right at Chelford roundabout to A535 towards Holmes Chapel and coming the other way was a new Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato.
Thought the plate was VX66OVL but having reg checked this I must have been wrong.
Stratstone have an Aston Martin dealership nearby in Wilmslow and did have one in their showroom recently so I am pretty sure this was the car. Looked stunning and the brake lights in my rear view mirror proved it was a Zagato.
Regards
Tim
