I hope these guys are pleased with themselves.
Well if they had grounds for a lawsuit then it doesn't matter how they feel

The probably are pleased with themselves; they're lawyers. They specialise in screwing people over for their own benefit with no regard for a greater good. I expect they've increased their own bank balances without knowing or caring who 'Bert and Tony' are. In modern philosophy and culture, this is seen as heroic or impressive.
SeenTheStrings, here's how it works: supplier offers to supply customer with goods for a price. Customer agrees to buy goods for that price. Supplier supplies the goods. Customer pays for goods. Offer, acceptance, performance, consideration: the elements of a contract. If customer does not pay for the goods, they are in breach of contract. The supplier is neither a charity nor an alternative bank for the customer. If the supplier does not collect in its debts, chances are it will default with its own creditors and also go out of business, so 2 businesses go the wall instead of one. What exactly would you have had them do? Lawyers actually are required to act in the best interests of their client. The lawyers won't have decided to sue, that will have been their clients.

Not to mention the curiously once unloved but now celebrated 308 GT4...
Good on yer.....just going to ask why the 308GT4 was shunned as 'iconic' in favour of some of the others depicted. What is nicer than an early 308GT4 with the original cromadora alloys.......I don't care whether people call it "the poor man's Ferrari" as I can always raise a grin when I look at their Ford 100E or Austin A35..........and it's dirt cheap to insure (even for an 'old wrinkly') with R H. Who knows, the government might even appease us by another delayed move of one year for free Excise Duty (mustn't call it Road Tax) with the election looming and their broken "promise" (like others they made then broke)on returning the rolling date: another one down the drain! Too busy funding corrupt States and fighting wars nothing to do with us: oh, and sucking up to their banker friends ALL IN THIS TOGETHER?...........YOU BET! shoutvomit

t the risk of sounding like Whitney Houston, I've always loved these. It'll be my first car purchase with my Euromillions win as referenced above.
Look around and you can still buy a reasonably good 308GT4 for no more than some new smaller modern tin boxes, or used secondhand 'quality' car. You may have to run a 'shed' as an everyday car to counter this.........your insurance for the 308GT4 should be under £200 comprehensive with vehicle recovery thrown in amonst other benefits. Go for it....!

If I still earned what I earned 5 years ago I would.

Me also had 2 Bertone X1/9's. My Pininfarina Alfa Spider and Lancia MonteCarlo were good too but unfortunately not enough of their more recent concept cars were taken up, but give me Italian design over German anyway as the cars have more personality and beauty, however they would need to be built better than in the past. Shame though we need Italian flair.

Sad news for petrolheads the world over. frown

Probably my favorite carrozzeria. Miura, original Countach, Montreal (very, very underrated design, IMO), the Grifo, etc.

Surprised no pic of the Grifo? As beautiful as any Italian GT from the classic era!

Well, here's a few I took a couple years ago:

Maybe Bertone didn't pay them, how would you feel if you ran a business and someone you supplied services to didn't pay up?

"Oh it's OK they're an old firm with a respected name, we'll chalk that one off the board".

I doubt it.

This was a particular highlight. Seem to recall the Citroen BX being designed by them too.
