All I'll say is I hope the above CLK will prove better than the CLK350 cab my dad had from new in 2006.....utterly appalling build quality. Nice enough when it worked though!

Hope so still looks like new, and it seems to have been well loved, so I expect all faults have been looked or sorted by now, one advantage to proven older tech.

That answers my question on whether it might have been you I saw approaching Belsay from Bolam in an immaculate blue 129 on Sunday.

Given the driver resembled none so much as Ken Russell, I now know it wasn't smile
r129sl had a tough paper round...

Odear. I appear to have posted up a lemon. Forgive me, for I am not Edo and thus fallible smile

How's about this? OK, £4500 is a fairly big price for a XJR6, in fact it's bordering on insane, however, it's a very, very correct looking thing

That certainly looks very minty, black-on-black isn't a colour scheme for me though, far too dour...

This XJR could well go for under thread budget.

Tough crowd!

I personally dislike black cars, despite owning more black cars than any other colour (including my 740i Sport which was technically the blackest E38 available from factory)

Howeer

I think that looks really rather lovely in that shade. Lithe, slim and extremely smart.

Gentlemen, your search for an XJR is over. I give you this...

Behold the purple flecked paint. The after-market boot spoiler. The nose that looks like it's been sniffing too much coke. And the skeleton hanging from the air-freshener. I would say a road legal missile...

Comfort minded spec, 90K, FBMWSH, though does need a bit of bodywork
Looks like a tip inside and out. Plus the Oxford green leather is a highly "acquired taste" in the flesh.
90k my arse. Clocked much? Mine has done 40k miles more and is in much better nick.

Do you mean lots of short journeys and as a result more wear and tear? I guess it could be. These days I would probably trust the accuracy of a higher mileaged car rather than a lower one though.

No, I think it always sat a little high at the front edge but I never got on top of adjusting it:

I have a lot of time for KGF cars. It looks like they offer great cars at high, but by no means unreasonable, prices.

I agree. If I were in the market (and knowing that car) I'd seriously think about buying it back.

p.s It would irk me slightly that I could have had it back at half that price about 3-4 years ago though!
