I ordered the replacement for the W126 and A8 today, but I went a bit over thread budget and it's only a 1.5 litre so I can't really post it here. wink

Cool. Saw one on the road in Europe the other day and it looked great. One of the more interesting new cars on sale.

Thanks chaps. I obviously wouldn't normally have posted about it in here, but a few of you had expressed an interest in what my next move was going to be. It's not due to arrive until next spring I'm told, but I should get a more firm idea over the next couple of days. Still love bargain barges though. smile

I'd love to, but the XJS developed a misfire tonight, so I'm sitting in the dark having hot-shivers about the prospect of spending upwards of £30 on plugs/leads/whatever...

This is supposed to happen to the Last Guy, or the Next Guy. Not the This Guy.

Well done. Love the interior on them, has to be a light shade though.

That i8 looks absolutely sensational. The 'thinking man's P1'?

Going back to the Cit C6 posted earlier, I am pretty sure that around 125km is cambelt change time on that motor.

Only in this thread could a 20+ year old 7 seater diesel estate possibly follow an i8 without so much as a raised eyebrow but.... biggrin PS. Love the i8 - very nice and inividual choice!

That leather is glorious. Would be an absolute cracker if it was a TE.

Not sure on that, everything about them is in a completely different league - price, performance, exclusivity. The i8 looks like a great car mind.
