About 10 years ago, Black & White Alfa (local to me) always seemed to have one of these in stock at any given time. A four door Ferrari! Yours looks great - you got rid because of a windscreen? How much to replace?
Yeah, trade policy doesn't cover windscreens, think it was around £300 for the screen, so I sold it with cracked screen for £500, it was after all a Friday night post pub purchase that I had no real need for so wasn't going to spend any money on it.

I love the 166 (though I might try the 3.0 in a GTV)

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2014...

"grey, a stunning example of a collectors merc 1991 300e auto, could be 1 of the cleanest around .every mot from new ans service history . must be seen and driven, Next MOT due 01/06/2015, Tax expires 01/12/2014, £995"

If I didn't have work this weekend I would probably buy it (I have no need at all for another H plate W124 300e 4 door though!)
Could be a nice one that. The advert doesn't tend to fill you with confidence but I think I have grown my beard to the length where I could look at a 124 objectively, not really caring too much about who the seller is etc. If there's a problem I'm pretty sure I will find it or be able to fix it. Buying my E39 was entirely the opposite, I wouldn't have been prepared to look at one which didn't give me a good vibe in the ad.
I just want to own multiple 300e 4 doors, and it's 100+ miles away and for £995 i'd always just go and buy rather than view! I'd agree it's not a great ad, and realistically it will need wings and suspension (the all do).

Poor spec, rubbish ad. But, great colour and cheap. Almost worth having as a spare!

In 129 news, I'd planned to go and view a rather fine looking thing tomorrow, but it appears I've been pipped at the post. Somewhat frustrating.

A chap at work is selling his Tuscan to get back in a 129 - he misses his old 320 that much (surely keep both??!)

Would this 129 be a bad idea - it's only half of thread budget... http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2013...

Personally If I was going down the r129 route it would need to be the 500.

Sorry to self-quote, but the other chap can't now make it until tomorrow, so I get first viewing this afternoon!

Surprising to see 166's on here, came in to post this beauty - I'm missing my 156 GTA badly (sold to fund house purchase frown), the engine is truly astonishing. I've always got an eye out for a mint, cheap 166 3.0 Super (moon on a stick? hehe) but at the other end of the spectrum, this looks perfect lick Once there's a bit more money in the kitty this is exactly what I will be after.

That's lovely. I like this in the ad "ALL OTHER ALFAS TAKEN IN P/X DEAD OR ALIVE".

I have seen that, sorely tempted but just so not the right time frown that's pretty much exactly what I've got my eye out for thought - mileage isn't an issue either with the Busso V6, they're a tough engine if they're looked after smile

There's something a bit badass about this car!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-e28-M5-M535i-/151402...

"I bought the car from the original owner in 2003. It is originally a 1986 M535i.
In 2008 the engine from an e34 M5 was put in (s38 b36) by Fritz's Bits."

When he says that the M5 engine has done 15,000 miles, I take it he means since it was fitted to his car! laugh

Lbrary pic, but this red/burgundy with black interior.

Is it located somewhere in the north west and advertised on Autotrader? If so I think I've seen it in my daily 'trader trawl. Sweet.

I do apologise, I don't know how or why that just happened.
