Probably doesn't count as a barge, unlike say the Merc 190 / W124 which I started out looking for, but it's withint thread budget - here's my latest acquisition, from Old Colonel Cars, a BMW 325i coupe.
Has been down in Yorkshire getting various jobs done & I'll be picking it up to drove back to Aberdeen in a fortnight's time.
63k miles, absolutely lovely. It belongs on this thread in my opinion as a mini barge - 6 cylinders, smallish wheels, far more comfortable than some run-flat M-sport nonsense. A far better engine than most modern barges (ie a BMW NA petrol straight 6, not a diesel or turbo). Congratulations!Has been down in Yorkshire getting various jobs done & I'll be picking it up to drove back to Aberdeen in a fortnight's time.

89k and £4k. That seems absurd value for money. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2014...
Lovely. Nice to see the original (pre 01) plates on it too.downthepub said:

Not asked my mate yet but a check on camskill suggests I can get 4 goodyear tyres delivered for around £680 which isn't too bad at all. I can get them delivered to the workshop and they'll be able to fit the tyres for me.....Could potentially be >£100 cheaper
Check our oponeo and tyre leader as well, they were cheapest a few months ago when I was getting the same tyres as you.0a said:

and as stated the actual reg plates are quite old
Speaking of old type reg plates, does anyone know of a source for them now? I had to replace the original ones on my 124 for the MOT this year and the new type just look wrong on it!This place offers them. http://www.platesforcars.co.uk/designer.php#number... In the "Font" drop down menu, select "UK Old Legal". I always order plates without the legally-required markings (the BS number and the post code of the maker). I hate all that crap. Just the letters on a plain background for me.
Framptons are reputed to be the best for classic plates. www.pl8s.co.uk though you may have to call them as none of the plates on their website is quite right.

You mean without the post code and badge rubbish? Just a clean white or yellow plate with black numbers?I've used these guys for my Caterham. Select show plate.
