Discussion
This has appeared on the thread before and is still for sale, looks great value from a seller with some very nice cars (which rightly or wrongly inspires confidence) ...

It's a pile of scrap metal and used parts, how much do you want to pay for it? Fox- said:

The windows are sealing correctly, the rear parking sensors are tickety-boo, it's definitely not missing a brake light and any suggestion that it has done a lot more than 80,000miles and is totally fked would be absurd. And those are clouds reflected in the factory-standard mismatched paint.the plate alone with worth over "250" - 250 magic beans I assume.

Didn't you spend quite a lot on sorting yours out recently, body etc?
If so, don't give up! Surely a secondhand replacement ECU would be available?
MB in their wisdom made them coded to each car. I'll put it in for the test and go from there. Probably worth sending off to an ECU tester for the sake of £50-60 just to see. Yes, spent a lot last year on having the body all done. Bloody annoying as I'm not far away from making it to a decent state! If so, don't give up! Appealingly original though. Flagship BMW from the late '80s - optional radio!
(or no cost delete option, at least)

"THE CAR WOULD BENEFIT FROM NEW TYRES, AS CURRENT HAVE PLENTY OF TREAD BUT HAVE SOME SIDE CRACKS"
I suppose the fact they're TRXs and in that size come in at £329+VAT each last time I checked a few years ago, probably more now (for the same tyres that were sat in stock then no doubt).Appealingly original though. Flagship BMW from the late '80s - optional radio!
