Just as scary as it is attractive, and it is a bloody beautiful looking thing God that is nice, and if genuine (history, NO RUST)I may be taking a trip to Surrey in the near future!
Anyone in the Redhill area care to take a look at it?

Something a bit different, and a haggle away from thread budget. Somewhat challenging leather/"wood" combo, but overall I rather like it.

So much right, even a hint of awesome. Then that interior combo. http://www.goodmayesmotors.co.uk/used-car-nissan-s...
What is it with the Japanese and interiors?

I think you will find the Z20 was a GM engine?
The Saab 9-3 and 9-5 had the B205 and B235 (and originally the B204/234
The Z20NET and Z20LET are GM engines using different pistons, turbo and ecu software as I recall.
My engine is visually the same as found in the 1.8t and 2.0T 9-3s. I believe the SAAB code is B207. This comes at the top of a google search :The Saab 9-3 and 9-5 had the B205 and B235 (and originally the B204/234

It is technically a GM engine (as opposed to a true SAAB one) but it is in an awful lot more SAABs than it is Vectra Cs (most petrol variants being 1.8 and 2.2 NA) hence referring to it as a 'SAAB engine'.

Looking again at that car though I expect it will attract a fair degree of interest from the Vauxhall owners members (VXON) as a car with such comprehensive history is rare.
If you choose to sell, that would be where I would place it. You may be pleasantly surprised at the response.
Thanks for the tip on that site, I'll certainly bear it in mind should I decide to sell.If you choose to sell, that would be where I would place it. You may be pleasantly surprised at the response.

My mate has one of these. The arches on his are coded to the rest of the car and the interior is cream leather everywhere. The above interior is gopping!http://www.goodmayesmotors.co.uk/used-car-nissan-s...
It does look like someone described a Volvo V70 down the phone to someone at Nissan and they built the results.
Boom!

Looks fantastic to me. Loving the handwritten notes and Michelins are always a good sign - but the mileage at that price puts me off.Saw this car on Auto Trader’s Android App. Thought you might be interested. http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2014...

I'm sure a PH'er bought this a few months ago- he put a thread up on it in readers cars...If so, here's Freddie Mercury's 420SEL:

Indeed - he realised it was too large a task for him, and decided he would sell it within a relatively short time of collecting it. There are loads of pictures on the thread - it looks very rough. I wonder how much the FM aura justifies restoration with it "only" being a 420 - I imagine if it were a 500 or 560 it may have a wider market? (or is the difference not that worthwhile?).
