Beautiful? Seriously? It's not a bad looking car but it isn't beautiful!!
Ah... see... but I think it is.

A proper old beauty.

And luckily, in the case of opinions, we're all allowed our very own personal ones that aren't subject to cancellation simply because they don't tally.

For example, earlier, you said:

Does look absolutely fantastic though and lovely colour combination.
And yet, in my opinion, I think it's an aesthetically displeasing colour combination that I would avoid.

I just didn't feel the need to say so. wink

Looks like good value still, but a new MOT would certainly make it very appealing.

I fully agree! I am a paid up member of the small wheel fan club.

Lovely colour and interior, do tell us more. How does it drive?!
I've just started a Reader's Cars thread, but in a nutshell it's pretty much bang on! So quiet, smooth and effortless to drive, no shimmy and even managed 30odd mpg on the run home!

Gatwick motor world? Doesn't sound promising. Pretty basic spec too for 320. Plus no information in the ad. I do like the 'inbetween cars' though.

Excellent, glad you're enjoying it, good looking car. I remember in my late teens driving one that belonged to a friend of my dad, I had the job of dropping him off at the airport, he'd only taken delivery of it the day before, so had only 50miles or so on the clock. I thought I was the business on the drive home! smile

I've got a foot in both camps as I've got a set of those 16s with winter tyres fitted and I like the understated look they give my car - they suit the car well. I also really like the look of it on the M Parallels I run the rest of the year too smile

Pretty incredible amount of money, isn't it! If that's all the history they had I'd be offering them something starting with a 6 for that - you'd want every MOT from new with every bill really to make it worth keeping as a proper low-mileage piece.

the stereo system on my e91 is an absolute disgrace but upgrading it isn't economically worth it.
Have you enquired about price? If the car is a keeper than I think it could be worth it.

I do like good sound quality.... I was daft enough to spend over £400 on a set of earphones..... Which were far more expensive than the player they get plugged into hehe

Indeed...I don't necessarily see the low mileage as a positive, heavily dependant on how the car has been stored when not in use.

190E prices seem to have risen a tad.

I like them (and once owned one) but one thing I learned is that old school, four speed autos need to be coupled to six cylinders.

Parts for the four cylinder cars are pretty cheap, mind.

I'm not absolutely sure what a Korean inline-four diesel jeep is doing on this thread, but it looks like a nice example for very little money, I hope you enjoy it and I'm curious as to how you get on! Thanks for posting

GMW are legit. They have a good reputation locally & whenever I've had a look around the sales team have seemed OK.

Yes, these wheels looks great on the E38. My preferred wheel on them is the Style 32 but I wouldn't pass up these ones. I find the M Para wheels a tad vulgar.

those wheels plus gatwick motor world (not that i know anything about the place, just from the name) to me suggest that mileage should be taken with pinch of salt.

It would be the thick end of a grand which is too steep given I usually only spend about 20mins a day in the car.

Point taken. I've never heard of them it was just the name sounds like one of those dealers who change their name a lot. I would say that very very few people pay 10k for 124's so a bit more effort and detail on the ad would help ( not however the Wikipedia history of the model which seems to be popular with some dealers) .
