The owner would sit that side while 'James' (other Chauffer names are available) would drive him home.

E38 iL's with the rear seat package have controls for the front passenger seat in the rear armrest.

But a leccy table is pretty damn cool.
Lacks the side-rails required for full control of one's McDonalds.

The upside of that is superior forearm and upper-chest comfort when on the way to the office hungover and nauseous.

I might have a potential barge bargain- a 1999 S320 petrol in silver 86k miles, absolutely immaculate condition with full Mercedes service history and 12 months MOT. Its the LWB business edition too. A friend needs the space and hes going to give it to me for £900. Now i know its not the S500 but surely for £900 i cant go wrong can I? This has got to waft along like no other?!

Blimey, that looks nice. At £900 and if he's really a friend (ie just wants the space and rid rather than selling a lemon) you should bite his hand off!

PS try doing some editing (line breaks?) to get the full three images - the interior ones look great!
It has the electric picnic table in the back - I think these go for pretty good money

I think that S320 is what they called the "Business Edition". Quite a few of the late W140's have lots of kit as Mercedes was loading them up to get them shifted.

£900! for the S320?!

For lovers of barges with the three-pointed star, the cars on this German dealer's website are something to behold. All out of budget, mind. Check out the underside of this 300 CE:

That stereo is potentially the very early sat nav system with arrow based turn by turn directions. Anyone with a bigger anorak than me care to confirm?
Yes its definately the built in sat nav too...also includes electrically operated rear "desk" but strangely only on the passenger side!
I never knew such a thing existed... now I want one!

The blue S500 that was on here a few months back also had the picnic table. I think all the LWB cars had controls for the front passenger seat in the rear passenger door card. Hours of hilarity when your mates realised they could crush the chap in the front into the glove box at the touch of a button!

Did you manage to sell the G500 JJ? I'm intrigued to know what direction you're going in next!

Dont know what SS - Goodwood means, but not sold it yet.

Had 3 enquiries so far which probably isn't bad. I don't know how big the market is for a £20k+ 14 year old 5L 4X4.

With the registration plate valued at £5000 it is literally a free car. In fact I would be prepared to give them £1000 cash and let them keep the plate, that is what I call win win.

Comment was aimed at idiotgap, who like me is a fairly regular attender of South East meets, in case he hadn't spotted the link on the front page of the site

Doesn't look far off brand new, or Derinesque if you will.

On that basis £14K doesn't seem out of order.

Looks amazing. Still spotted a bit of moss growing on the passenger side door window felt bit hehe

Cracking shape, always loved them and it was a 94 car that my Dad had that set me off on this path. 11 year old me thought it was the best car ever.
