I think you mean Colonel Kurt Von Strohm
Do the entire cast have to drive mercs? I imagine Edith has a 2cv. The undertaker with a dicky-tickeur a granada based coleman-milne hearse.
Carstairs is now a software engineer and works with one of my Rugby team mates in Cambridge. I will try to find out what car he drives now.I think you mean Colonel Kurt Von Strohm

Not really a barge. 354 bhp in a c-class that looks like a diesel appeals though (a debadge would be highly appropriate).
Anyone have any idea how these drive? Are they not supposed to have "kompressor" badges on the side?

I do like this but does it not represent MB's dark days? Electrical gremlins and rust?Anyone have any idea how these drive? Are they not supposed to have "kompressor" badges on the side?

This would beat having to buy a people carrier for the 124 lover.

Yes. If it's anything like my old C270CDI W203, stay well clear!kapiteinlangzaam said:

Contrasted with Derin's former car, it looks rough - it appears to have been machine polished with emery cloth - but I agree they're impressive vehicles. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MERCEDES-BENZ-C-CLASS-5-...

I saw this one and thought it looked an interesting wagon for the dog

Mismatched bonnet shut lines around the NS and OS headlamps tends to indicate a x203 that's had some frontal impact which can also be annoyingly minor.http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2014...

Indeed. You'd think he would have given it a nice clean for the shots. The black wheels are also horrendous. I sold mine which was much nicer, had lower miles AND had a full year's worth of Mercedes Tier 1 Warranty in place for £18K back then....but that was nearly 5 years ago!
Having said that...people seem to be asking similar figures for comparable mileage E46 M3s at the moment, it seems? A car with comparable performance (albeit somewhat different character) yet not as rare.
All things considered (and if someone else was picking up any potential repair bills) which would I choose? 'Straight-forward' E46 M3 vs the AMG C55 Estate? I'd probably take the AMG.
CSL is a different question....
For me, as a miser in the "Real World", CSL vs AMG C55 Estate? I'd STILL take the AMG....and pocket the (LARGE) remainder of the money!
Both cars were great fun...and the CSL was much more fun in small doses there's no doubt. However, I drove the AMG non-stop all the way to the South of France and back . I doubt I would have found driving the CSL even as far as a Channel port much fun!

These were slightly weirdly the front end of the W209 CLK plonked onto the W203 weren't they?
I like them a lot.
I don't know if it's exactly a W209 front end, but it's certainly longer than the standard W203 and pre-facelift C32. They look so similarly styled to a normal W203 that it's odd how easy it is to distinguish one in the flesh. Very cool.I like them a lot.
