Brand New Citroen DS5 - plenty of faults and bad paint job

It sounds as if they don't quite understand that the car is theirs. I'd stop talking to a monkey and get put through to an organ grinder.
Well, yes, quite! This needs to be emphasised, as it's got lost a few times in the inevitable white noise in this thread.OP, I'd be handing the keys in to the finance company (but keep your direct debit in place) personally - THE FINANCE COMPANY OWN THE CAR AT THIS TIME, it just happens that your name & address are on the paperwork and the V5C!
Ring them and arrange to give them the keys (and keep escalating the call to higher levels of management if you're not happy with the replies you're getting from the people you speak to, until you manage to speak to someone high up who will agree to what you're asserting [which is that you will be handing them the keys and walking away]) ASAP.
Let the finance people sort this out; they own the car...

Not sure "heres your car back, theres faults with it" will hold much sway with a finance company?OP, I'd be handing the keys in to the finance company (but keep your direct debit in place) personally - THE FINANCE COMPANY OWN THE CAR AT THIS TIME, it just happens that your name & address are on the paperwork and the V5C!

I'm not sure that would do anything other than trigger a default on the loan, the finance company would then flog the car at auction for whatever they can get and bill the O/P for the difference?

I have returned the car to the Dealer more then 2 weeks ago with all the keys and a letter explaining the reason of return. The finance company declined any responsibility. 3 times I requested to speak with some one senior and I've been told that they will call me in 48 hours but in the end no one called me. My phone bill is over 80 pounds alone due to the time spent on the phone with the Finance Company alone. This is not science fiction - this is my reality

So what is happening with citroen & the dealer? You said you had good news on the previous page. I don't think it is a good idea to keep on whinging all over facebook if they're going to give you the money back, it will only put their backs up.Citroen Spain has given a big like to my story on their FB page !!!

Hi
News time
I have received a settlement offer that me and my wife decided to accept it. "The terms of this settlement shall remain confidential" so please understand why I can't make this terms public. I want to say thanks to Citroen for making this settlement possible and although, sometimes I doubted it, they can be nice guys with a little push.
My deepest gratitude goes to ALL OF YOU, the members of this forum and others, for your continuous and amazing support. I have no doubt that without your help this wouldn't be possible so THANK YOU.
One more time a sincere:
THANK YOU
Cheers
