Well, yes, quite! This needs to be emphasised, as it's got lost a few times in the inevitable white noise in this thread.
OP, I'd be handing the keys in to the finance company (but keep your direct debit in place) personally - THE FINANCE COMPANY OWN THE CAR AT THIS TIME, it just happens that your name & address are on the paperwork and the V5C!
Ring them and arrange to give them the keys (and keep escalating the call to higher levels of management if you're not happy with the replies you're getting from the people you speak to, until you manage to speak to someone high up who will agree to what you're asserting [which is that you will be handing them the keys and walking away]) ASAP.
Let the finance people sort this out; they own the car...
I have returned the car to the Dealer more then 2 weeks ago with all the keys and a letter explaining the reason of return. The finance company declined any responsibility. 3 times I requested to speak with some one senior and I've been told that they will call me in 48 hours but in the end no one called me. My phone bill is over 80 pounds alone due to the time spent on the phone with the Finance Company alone. This is not science fiction - this is my reality

So what is happening with citroen & the dealer? You said you had good news on the previous page. I don't think it is a good idea to keep on whinging all over facebook if they're going to give you the money back, it will only put their backs up.
What have citroen actually said and what do you actually want?
Hi trama, welcome back. What have citroen actually said and what do you actually want?
I hope, tomorrow I will be able to answer to your questions. Sharing my story all over the internet brought me to this point.

Hi
News time
I have received a settlement offer that me and my wife decided to accept it. "The terms of this settlement shall remain confidential" so please understand why I can't make this terms public. I want to say thanks to Citroen for making this settlement possible and although, sometimes I doubted it, they can be nice guys with a little push.
My deepest gratitude goes to ALL OF YOU, the members of this forum and others, for your continuous and amazing support. I have no doubt that without your help this wouldn't be possible so THANK YOU.
One more time a sincere:
THANK YOU
Cheers

No you can't.
But what you can do is start a new thread on the new car you have, or you could post a what car thread.
Completely unrelated to this thread, of course. That way we know if we need to help you think of a new car to buy, or it gives you the opportunity to show off your new noble steed!

When the time will come I will be on pistonheads for advice and guidence

Proof that if you shout the loudest things get resolved. I must have a duff monitor as I can't see the paint issue.
This thread reminds me of that Astra Vxr one from a couple of years ago. Thin pain on the underside of the roof or something....
Anyway well done op for getting the result you wanted.
