Knee-deep? I think you're doing it wrong mate. Either that or you're into gypsy girls?

I must be the only one who doesn't like the V8 Vantage.. I like AM and I specially love the DBS, but the V8V does absolutely nothing for me in the slightest. I'm not even keen on how it looks!

If I was in your position I'd be in a C63, it will be a fair chunk newer and a fair bit quicker than the AM, and IMO cooler.

Was going to suggest a Sagaris, then looked at the what the current asking prices are. Safe to say they're only going in one direction then!

I'd be trying to get a better insurance quote and going for a GTR.

Personally i think Astons and Bentleys, Jags etc are a bit old man, you're 24 not 44! They are cars for execs who live at golf clubs.

I think the red T350c in the classifieds for £25k is a bargain, that's the sort of car a 24 year old should be driving!!! A little bit bonkers styling, epic noise and ~350 bhp to keep you busy...

The ladies love anything with a badge at that age!

The Evoque would do the trick as it's shiny shiny new new.

This is why I love Pistonheads, the last few comments have really made me laugh

I agree about being knee-deep, and yeah it'll more then likely be the wrong type, but I'll have to figer out how to filter out that sort....

Last night I spent countless hours looking through here, being a little silly.. Clicking in cars I thought would be out of range, only to find that there were a few with in budget.. Think exotic Italia..
Might not be the cleverest of moves though, not if the Alfa over the road is anything to go buy..

I was in your position 9 months ago.. I bought a TVR Chimaera. If my budget had have allowed I may have got a Cerb.. But roof down was one of my main priorities.

It doesn't sound like you want a convertible so I would say Cerb.. The beuty is aswell that there will be no depreciation and you may even gain.

I'm with Phil a few posts above, having driven lots of AMV8's I can't see what all the fuss is about in all honesty.

R8 would be my first choice.
RS4 & M3CSL are worthy of a drive!
What about something like an Exige? Or a NSX?

The company car is just a little ford connect.
I have the Saxo because is a cheap little motor. I didn't want anything to expensive while I was saving up. Plus it's a laugh!

If looked at a few R8s and I do like them. Not been lucky enough to drive one though, may have to go and have a test drive.

Shame my budget won't stretch to a v10

Don't buy a Cerbera.

I like the Vantage, but I think the XKR is thr better car. Anyone who gets fixated with being too young for a particular car is a moron IMHO too. HTH!

100% Aston although I wouldn't rule out a DB9 if you want (tiny) back seats :-)

Luckily I don't need back seats.

I think it's got to be something British.
Nobody else seems to make interiors like us.

Aston Martin, jaguar and Bentley are in a class of their own when it comes to luxury. I know the Germans and jap cars are faster, but it's not all about that. To me it's more about how a car makes you feel when yo are driving it, and I think I'd be a lot happier in something from a British maker.

It's time to start test driving cars now, that's if they'll let me!
