The driveway is the only possibility but it will not suit the house. Also I need width not length, so I can build a GT40 kit with enough space to get around comfortably during build and even after. I need a double garage!

It's OK, cycling is saving me a load of money! :-s

Same experience here! I built a cobra kit and intended to give it a gt40 shaped friend but neglected to measure my driveway and garage width, I'll have to move house first before I can get to work, or build a daytona coupe instead

Wow, small world! That was my JLR company car from new, Jan '13 - Oct'13. Loved and cherished that car, thought the barley interior went so well with the silver and black pack. I'm in an Evoque now, and miss the driveability and pace of the XF-S. looking forward to the XEs coming out, they drive as good as the XFs and have way more tech.

So, was that your car that you then sold, or do you work in a dealer and arranged the sale?
