That's awful. I have to say, the red car I mentioned didn't look survivable (although of course it's not confirmed that either of the fatalities came from there) but also the protracted road closure indicated fatalities, as I said above.

Very sad news

I agree with others who have already mentioned the fact that during school holidays, the standards of motorway driving does seem to drop.
also, agree with the, "used to be knights of the road." Sadly even I have to agree again.

I reguarly drive a left hand drive truck in the uk, and even with the 6 mirrors it is alot trickier than I thought it would be. I have a fresnel lens, and although tricky at first, they really are a big help.

Sadly two have passed away.A 46 year old male driver has been arrested.
I had to retrieve the load out of the van , all those orange boxes on the motorway contained aircraft engine parts .
The cars and van involved were well mangled , not a pleasant place to be.
My sympathy is with the families that have lost loved ones and I wish the injured speedy recoveries.
