We have two smallish dogs (Jack Russell and French Bulldog) and now feel that we have to have a car with a boot that we can cart them around in. So apart from an RS4 Avant or a big AMG Merc there's not much else around that can do that. But then we got thinking outside the box a bit - what about a 911 with no back seats or an AM Vantage in the luggage section? Anyone got any ideas or experience with dogs and performance cars?!

Z3m coupe. It's like a z3 estate with an m3 engine. It even has a retractable dog guard already fitted.

Depending on budget you can't do much better than a Ferrari FF or how about the F type Jag estate thingy, do they do that as an R version yet?

Took my lab to the vet in my Lotus. The dog loved it though he kind of worked out to lean into corners so he didn't fall off the seat.

Get a couple of Great Danes in there (with a spot of dog origami).

Do you mean the XF? they only do it as the hottest (R-S) version: http://www.jaguar.co.uk/jaguar-range/xf/xf-models/...

Lotus Evora? hehe

That was in a 2+2 but the 2+0 would actually work quite well as the loadspace is flat and quite nicely box shaped!

A Subaru Legacy GTB, or a Mitsubishi Gallant VR4 estate are more than capable.
There's a Nissan too, but can't remember the name, its even rarer.

Goes round corners rather quickly but I can't say the dogs particularly enjoy being passengered in it!

Indeed, I thought you don't see many of them! Then checked his profile, I'll need to keep an eye out as he's local......

My Saab 95 Aero Turbo is pretty swift, what sort of performance are you looking for?

Why thank you! Certainly not many about and I actually get more attention from enthusiasts in this than I do in the Cerb.... most don't even know they ever made an Evo Wagon!

Its currently at 400bhp/400lbft. I'm desperately trying not to modify it further as the sky is the limit with these, funds permitting of course....

Yes, used to be. Moved over to Chippenham about a year ago now as I'm working at Abbey Wood. I see you're Army too - which course were you on if you don't mind me asking?
