I'd like to hear people's suggestions for car which are nearing the bottom of the market and about to become collectable
we can ignore cars which is automatically going to be collectable, ferraris, lamborghinis, aston martins, rolls royces etc
I'm talking about more every day manufacturer's cars, VWs, Toyotas, BMWs, Fords etc.

R129 Mercedes SLs are amazing value at the moment. This won't last.

This will no doubt become very collectable, but what makes you think they're close to their bottom price?

Mondeo ST200 I reckon would be a good bet. May take a while for the values to go up, but with certain other Ford models getting up to silly money I predict an unmolested original 200 will become an appreciating asset.

There are a few specialists trying to force the price to rise. £30k has been the going rate for a looked after one for a while, but are getting few and far between.
