Lots of people up to interesting stuff. I thought mine was going to be a washout after my long weekend trip to the 'ring was cancelled at the 11th hour on Wednesday evening, but it turned out OK. For those waiting with baited breath, I sacked off the bonnet as SWMBO found something that was apparently more 'important' for me to be getting on with. It won't polish itself, so I'll get it done at some point!

I cried over this!

Van in front kicked off a wheel trim hit the bumper.

Today I removed the standard induction system on my M3, ready for a CSL airbox.

I hope the van owner/driver is paying for that! I'd be crying too.

My X-Type went off to the bodyshop today to have someone else's parking incompetence from a couple of weeks ago removed.

I even got to chat,by chance ,to the builder,Nick Butler.

So, on Friday I bought myself a new (to me) little motorbike:

Not a lot on Saturday or Sunday until 10pm when we decided to head to the Isle of Wight for the day (well Monday).

So, we made the 11:45pm ferry with less than 2 minutes to spare:

On Monday morning we went to the beach:

Then walked to the end of the pier:

We then went to the Isle of Wight zoo - not the biggest zoo in the world but nice big cats (I like!) including some white lions:

We then did some more riding and stopped at a nice view:

Finally we headed to The Folly Inn for a spot of (rather late) lunch before heading home (and getting rather wet on the way back!):

Wow, Revenge, I have a very well thumbed (falling apart) Marks and Spencers car book from the seventies which I got for Christmas and it had Revenge as the centrefold, used to fascinate me,
still looks good but preferred it when it was black. Up there for the eight year old me with the Panther Six wheeler that lived in the Observers book of cars, or even Valerie Perrines Knockers in
my "Sci-Fi Now" book biggrin

Did nothing car related, then last night SWMBO's car decided to throw the engine light on and smell of oil...

Think the sump needs re-tourquing after I dropped and cleaned it a few months ago, so that's this weekends job!
