So 2 of my local speed cameras caught a grand total of 13 people each last year.

Successful implementation of technology to reduce crime, or a waste of taxpayers money?

The article clearly shows that speed isn't a problem in the road where a lady was recently killed, yet her husband still wants a speed camera there. Is this because we've been brain washed into thinking they're the answer to all accidents, with the result that the REAL causes aren't being investigated and determined.

+1! Definitely this.
Every time there is an incident, the first answer is always 'speed camera'!
