I know what the OP means (I'm on my second Hyunda Coupe), there are a few options:
Alfa Brera
Alfa GT
Audi A5
Audi TT
BMW 3 Series
Hyundai Veloster
Mazda RX8
Nissan 350Z/370Z
Peugeot RCZ
Renault Laguna Coupe
Renault Megane Coupe
Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT86
Vauxhall Monaro
VW Scirocco
...
Final option the RCZ. I quite like it despite the Aldi TT image, having never driven one I would need to because it is a pig to drive then I'll be done with coupes for a while and will be buying a saloon or hatch next.
Aldi TT? How can something be downmarket from a TT? It's a Golf in drag Alfa Brera

In seriousness, the RCZ is at least as prestigious amongst actual car enthusiasts, right? It has a sensible layout and seems to be fairly highly rated by those who have thrashed one around.

Nissan 370z: Looks a bit questionable, but having a phat 3.7 V6 appeals to me as i like lazy torque and i dont do big mileage, so MPG isnt a massive issue. Only just starting to drop to my budget. Dont think it would squeeze in my garage though!
Bored at work, decided to see what insurance premium i would pay on a 2011 370z.£260.76, if i have it in the garage overnight - thats pretty good! (probably breaking the laws of physics getting it in there though)
£222.60 If it isnt in the garage overnight.... how does that work?

Two possibilities: either it's more likely that a car will be stolen from a garage than a drive because it gives someone a nice quiet covered area to work around the alarm and immobiliser; or a significant proportion of insurance claims are from people scraping their cars on their garage door aperture. £222.60 If it isnt in the garage overnight.... how does that work?

Problem these days is a manufacturer brings out a coupe:
and then turn it into a four door!
The days of a manufacturer taking a normal car chassis and turning it into a nice sporty coupe seem to be over too, hence the lack of them about. They all want a piece of the suv/crossover pie, which is correct in market terms, but a shame for us guys. Id rather have a rubbish old calibra over a brand new quashqai anyday....
