Well try one out for size, I don't think 6'5" is going to be that bad in an S2000. If your head touches the roof, put the roof down
Or get a Boxster. Later ones aren't particularly bork, someone with better knowledge will explain the bit about liners I'm sure.
That Cerb is definitely a good option too, if you're brave. Be brave, go on
By all means, if you want something rubbish and boring, that's up to you..
I think your making excuses with your height, you want something soft and practical really don't you? Maybe a nice Mondeo diesel? Or are you large in other directions too?
It's not about your head touching the roof, more about getting your legs under the steering wheel. MX-5, S2000, Z4, Mk1 TT - all cars I can't drive as can't get my left foot on the clutch pedal. Boxsters are a very tight fit too, but 996s are fine. TVRs are one of the most comfortable cars I've ever sat in, mainly because Peter Wheeler was a bit lanky too. And SLKs seem to have more room than most of their competitors (what price are SLK55s these days?)Or get a Boxster. E46 coupe is just about perfect for me too
While mentioned in jest, many rep-mobiles are rubbish for taller folks too, as the drivers seat doesn't drop or go back far enough, and many also have silly extra column stalks underneath the steering column that get in the way
You'd think with a combo of reach and rake and seat adjustment you could make it work, seems such a shame to be deprived of such lovely vehicles just for being tall
See the 300ZX is quite roomy isn't it? They're not that borktastic either, I think there are some good specialists about. Relatively heavy but a bit of a performance bargain at the moment.
Supras are cheap but possibly more bork.
Not sure what there is in terms of N/A though and you want a big N/A engine really don't you?
645CI in budget, fast but maybe not so fun. But they do look fantastic
You could even get a rag top if that floats your boat.
