Not a single sausage

Sausage = call or email about my car for sale
Not even a buyer from another country promising me cash at the docks lol. I have only advertised it on pistonheads so far, am I missing anything in my advert at all, should I try eBay or the trader???
Is it just the case no one wants petrol cars with 300bhp that return nearly 30mpg
Really want to get my next car now any advice appreciated

I am sure someone will snap it up soon over the coming weeks. Summers nearly here, most people seem to be financially better off now (than a few months back etc). Plus uni students (including this years graduates) are busy now with exams. Wait till they have finished, get on a graduate scheme and they will have some money!
Failing that..Worst case scenario P/X it on WBAC it?
Edit: Just seen the ad. Lovely car. Scratch what I said about students, not sure they could afford that straight away :P
Good luck!

The problem is that the asking price is high. I'm not saying it's not necessarily a fair price for that individual, specific car - but it looks high in the context of the overall market. Having read the ad in full I am sure your car is very much one of the best out there but most people won't get as far as reading the full ad, they will just think "I can get a lower mileage newer one from a dealer with a warranty for less than that".
WBAC says £11930 and while people know they bid trade prices they also know that is not far off what you'd be offered from the trade. So to if you need a quick sale and want to drum up some interest from the ad in a hurry I suspect you'll need to think about a headline £13995 rather than £15995.
However, it does look like a lovely car and I hope someone comes along for you in the next couple of days to prove me wrong.

How do you link the poster to the car for sale out of curiosity?
It's easy as pie. You look at his profile, see what's in his garage, it fits the description of what he says he's selling in the original post. You look at the PH classifieds and there's the ad for a car of that make and year with his PH user name against it.IMO it just screams of being too expensive, that shape of 3 series has long been replaced, you can bet your life that you've not had a sausage because people probably see it at around £13k on a good day!
At the end of the day it's a 5 year old 52,000 mile 3 series, nice as it is.

Looking at his profile garage section and then searching the classifieds to find a matching car.Advert is has a lot of waffle IMO. You have owned the car a very short time and now you are selling it to buy an M3. Doesn't really encourage a potential buyer that the car is awesome does it? "phonesafe" number too. Oh, and the price.

Errr... i'm on a graduate scheme for a FTSE 100 company. 17 grand cash (private sale) is not within the range of most grads I can assure you!Failing that..Worst case scenario P/X it on WBAC it?

Edit: Didn't see your ad - my bad. Lovely car OP.
Cheers the feedback guys, in regards to waffling well i just wanted to make the advert to have as much info as possible. However it might give too much info and answer any if not all questions a buyer would get in contact to ask...?
M3 comment noted but is a genuine reason for sale as i have a house, im not changing jobs and we are not having any more kids... couldnt think of anything else to put and someone is bound to ask LOL
In regards to price... well thats always difficult and whilst i did look at the market of 335i saloons i feel it is pretty well priced considering a non LCI is more expensive than mine?
http://www2.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...
The above has less miles but not having the features like the newer idrive etc would make it less appealing wouldnt it?
http://www2.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...
SE spec, lower miles and has 3 months BMW warranty so wouldnt a M sport with higher spec and longer BMW warranty be worth £500 more?
There are a couple of cheaper ones on Autotrader but they either dont have the I-drive which again would be less appealing wouldnt it, or awful interiors with alot more miles on the clock.

Difficult to comment on the price, but there are two comparable and cheaper M Sport models for sale-

Then there is this one, which is a year older, but private so look at the price-
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/b...
Most people are happy with the SE spec, so won't bother with M Sport premiums. It's a niche car with a small market to be honest (plus there is perhaps the unfair reputation for problems with the 335), so you'll have to play the waiting game. My Dad had a e60 530 up for sale recently at a good price (even knocked it down by £750 a week before he traded it in) and didn't get any attention. I think at that sort of price people want to buy on finance from a dealer.
That said, I would be very interested in your car if I could do it now (EDIT- no I wouldn't, I would want the coupe).
