Would a lease company allow a 17 year old newly passed have one of these if they paid there own insurance?
Not without a parent to take on the finance - under 18's can't get credit.
Yes I know that, all would be funded from bank of Dad, But would they allow it?
Just got a quote for insurance for him in own name with Tesco for £1,200 on the
Ibiza (On page 4) and it got me scratchchin

Those Sparks have to be ex-Enterpise. They have far too many for them to be anything else. Not sure I'd want a former Band A hire car. It's too expensive!
Especially since they were being churned out for little over £5k brand new from some dealers a couple of months ago

Still, if you could keep it within warranty yet still do some ridiculous miles in it, it's cheap motoring...

Don't think it's got anything to do with the lease company who drives it as long as it's insured

I'd like to know how used they are though and where they're actually coming from - never heard of the company

They're listing stuff like this:

http://www.time4leasing.co.uk/lease-info.asp?page=...

The VW Fox, a car that hasn't been available for almost 2 years. Either the website is well out of date, or a 2 year old car counts as 'slightly used' to them..

Hideous little things. Probably been pre-registered and sat on an airfield for 2 years.

I saw a previous model Vauxhall Zafira on a 14 plate the other day, don't think they've made them for a couple of years either

Thanks for all the input. Still looking for the deal that we can't refuse. Had a look at the link, but a lot of them are used cars. Perfect world would be Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost Zetec or similar.
Went to Ford, but was in the £170 a month territory and oddly enough it was cheaper to take metallic paint as it gave a discount on the monthly payment, as it makes the residual value higher at the end.
Can Ford employees get deals for non Ford employees, if so I could camp outside the parts warehouse in Daventry perhaps?
Any dealers on here need to hit a quarterly target?

You are not going to get a New Fiesta sized car for £100 deposit and £100 a month. As you have seen posted, £130 / £130 will get you a Ka sized car.
You either need to look smaller or come up with more money!

I'm very interested in this - what's the lead time on the cars?
Up!'s are readily available. Good option of all colour.

If you want any option extra's and there are no stock vehicles, you'd be looking at 2-3 months for a factory order.

Yes probably was a big ask.
Going forward, would I be correct in that there is a Peugeot 108 coming out very soon? Is this a move away from the shared bodyshell with the Citroen C1 (and Aygo) and if it is, would there be run out models of the 107 to clear?

On the plus side , the fox's have wind up windows , little in the way of pointless gadgetry and consequently never break. So ideal as a cheap appliance ..
