I'm leaving PH, wanted you all to know

This was never going to be an easy post to write, but I decided to shun the homepage puff and write it from the heart where I began my PH career, right here in the forums.

If you follow me on twitter then you may already know what I am about to say, if not then it’s with mixed emotions that I announce I’ve handed in my notice at PHHQ and will leave for the last time on the 18th July, if not a little sooner.

Times have changed a lot since I started here with Petrol Ted, soon to be joined by Racing Pete and Mr Will, but every day has been a pleasure. I’ve met many of you, not met many more, made some great friends, driven some great cars, been up far too early for Sunday Services and have been through many a PH drama! Still, I wouldn’t change a thing and that’s down to you...no really, anyone who reads this has played a part in making my working life a pleasure.

I’ve done a good stint here, now I must move on to pastures new and allow someone else to write the next chapter. I can’t wait to be a PHer rather than a staffer and I look forward to attending Sunday Services a little later than I have to arrive now. I’ll still be around for a few weeks yet, so these aren’t my last words, but I wanted to let you know as soon as possible

I’ll remain in the car website game, but it would be unfair of me to use PH as a platform to promote my new venture, that said I’m sure I’ll bore you silly with it on Twitter in due course.

Thanks again, have a virtual beer on me (actually, maybe I need a leaving do?)
