Once the adverts kept making noise (despite repeated complaints from people in the feedback forum) just blanket-blocked the site. It seems that since then they've gotten bigger and taken over more of the screen too.

I haven't said what the intent was, as Pistonheads haven't given a reason. Ergo what I said is valid whether the reason is that it's being redesigned into a new logo or because it's kow-towing to political correctness. You made an assumption that my comment was implying the latter.

What many sites all-too-often forget though (especially ad-funded ones), is that your most valuable asset is your traffic. The people ARE the site. Without the traffic, PH page views would plummet, ad views/revenue would follow shortly after and Pistonheads would be back running from a bedroom, just like it started.

One of the key elements of PH over the years has been the community. I don't think it'd last long if people stopped coming here.

The strapline doesn't matter a jot. I'll carry on driving as I did before. Like wise, if the site changes to the extent that i no longer find it rewarding to visit, then I won't visit it any more.
The biggest problem on this place is all of you moaning idiots who just seem to be looking for something to become Mr angry about. You talk like you have a stake in Pistonheads because you look at it. Get a grip! It's free, you have not given anything to it, you have just taken from it.
