A road sweeper's started parking outside our house

Have to laugh at this site,
PH Hex - what are you a child in a playground ?
Illegal to let tyres down ? - Ok what law says its is - proof needed ?
At least a few sensible people realize its the drivers responsibility to check the car before setting off - a quick visual will indicate if a tyre is completely flat. OK run flats a little harder visually, but if they are missed the tyre pressure warning will tell you they are flat.
It resolved my problem, if it upsets some people then Ok, if a bit of inconvenience taught a lesson then that ok with me as well, which will no doubt be remembered more than than some of the leftie lettuce eating sandal wearing crap that is spouted here.
If want to let people walk over you, then thats is fine with me, but its not fine with me.

Is it not your responsibility to check your car is in roadworthy condition every time you drive it ??
We aren't talking MOT either, just a quick glance around...tyres, lights, wipers etc.
If BiB are responsible for checking their vehicles, and any haulage people as well as any amount of professional drivers, then why should we not be responsible for our own vehicles ?
I like to think I am a responsible vehicle owner, after all, it can be a matter of life or death as has been proved within this thread.

But I have warning lights that tell me when a bulb is out, I can tell if my wipers are knackered because I can't see clearly. Tyres get checked by a quick glance periodically.
I'm not saying checks should be done whenever a vehicle is used, but it isn't going to lose you too much time to conduct a quick check once a week....or even daily to be fair.
If checks had to be done before you moved away in a vehicle, would it have saved any lives ??
I don't know the answer to that, but most multiple occupancy vehicles are checked daily...buses,coaches, aeroplanes etc. We are nearly all complacent when it comes to ourselves, our families and other roadusers where vehicles are concerned, that is until we become accountable.

all ememrgency services vehicles, inlcuding those operated by volunteers
all vehicles under LGV O licences
multiple driver vehicles owned / leased by organisations with decent corporate governance policies
interestingly it doesn't allways extend to 'issued' company vehicles

Indeed. To add fuel to the fire here is the actual offending vehicle
This vehicle requires an operators licence. Parking in such a way will transgress the requirements of that licence. I would immediately make a formal complaint to the licensing authority. The authority are duty bound to act upon such complaints. I would be surprised if this does not immediately cease. Best of luck.
